I have to admit that I am definitely not a crafty person either (as the author states in this book), but I am motivated now to start making candles! I had actually considered learning this hobby as a way for a little creative outlet. I also wanted to teach my daughters something that they could use to make some side income. This book tells you everything that you really need to know about making your own beautiful candles. I am so excited to get started! I love the way that the methods are done step by step so that even I can’t get lost!

I bought this book as a gift for my girlfriend’s mother who is big into arts and crafts, not to mention I need brownie points, but I gotta say this book over delivered on what I expected.
I thought it’d just be a simple “dip string and make candle” type book, but Jennifer is very detailed in taking the reader from the beginning of candle making, all the way to strategies for creating candles that will make houseguests and other visitors purely jealous!
Hell maybe I’ll get my gf’s mom to start a candle business on the side! Either way a great and easy to use book for quality candles.
